De muziek uit de film bestaat namelijk grotendeels uit nummers van Elvis Presley. Dit omdat het personage Lilo een groot fan van Elvis is. Zo komen de kids al vroegtijdig in aanraking met Elvis... Enkele nummers werden voor de film opnieuw ingezongen door o.a. Wynonna Judd.
De soundtrack van deze film staat momenteel weer genoteerd in de lijst van best verkochte soundtrack albums in de USA met deze week een notering op plaats 79. In totaal gingen sinds 2002 ruim 1 miljoen schijfjes van deze soundtrack over de toonbank!
